Hi everyone, I’m back to share a tag card featuring the gorgeous Lavender Love collection. Many of you know that my favourite colour is purple and I can honestly say I have had a blast creating with this collection. Let me share a little about how I put this tag card together.
Using the small tag die from a previous release I have cut two white cardstock tags and using a selection of four different patterned papers from the 6.5” paper pad I have cut out four tag shapes. Cut a 2”x2” piece of purple cardstock and score in half to join the two tags together to make a card that opens. Ink edges and adhere front and back layers of the patterned paper to the cardstock tag, but whilst doing that, at the same time don’t forget to add your purple cardstock hinge between the top layer of the tag and the bottom layer of the tag so that you can open it properly.
Embellish the top of your card – I’ve used muslin, crafting fibres, bloom, pearls and leaves and tucked in a sentiment from the ephemera collection. Cut some twine and thread through the tag and tie off.
I have embellished the middle section of my tag card using a clock and butterfly from the ephemera collection and then adhered a double layer of patterned paper cut off strips to add a little layering and colour. Cut some more twine and thread through the tag and tie off.
I’ve made an envelope for my tag card using my Couture Creations scoreboard 12 x 12 and I’ve cut a base square of 7”x7” from my paper collection, using the envelope guide tucked underneath my scoreboard.
To finish off, I’ve tied it closed with the same colour twine as I used on my tag card.
