Hi everyone, Michelle here today and Paper crafting can take many forms from cards, layouts, mixed media, off the page projects, 3D projects and they are all so much fun.
Today I am going to share a canvas that I made – it is a 4″ square canvas – the canvas and its wooden easel have been painted with three coats of chalk paint leaving to dry between each coat.
Cut a piece of patterned paper 3 3/4″ square and distress the edges – I have used a distressing circle and then lifted a little more of the edge with my finger tips. I would normally ink the edges, but with a good distressing edge of white it showed just nicely against the greeny/white chalk paint, so I decided to leave it raw.
I have rubbed on a rub on sentiment around the edges of my patterned paper before I have adhered it to the canvas. To make sure it stays adhered I not only used a very strong double sided tape, but also a little liquid adhesive (primarily under the pop up image) so it doesn’t show through the paper. I have layered and assembled a 3D Vintage Tea push out floral embellishment cluster and before I adhered to my canvas, I tucked under a clock image.

There you have it – quick and easy and a gift ready for gifting or to sit on my crafting shelf – time will tell.
