Hi everyone, Michelle here and  Today I’m sharing a card, a small gift card. Using white cardstock for the base – cut one piece of cardstock 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and score in half.  Cut a piece of black cardstock slightly smaller to cover the front of your card.

Now for a little fun.  🙂

TIP : All those edge strips that you remove from your 12 x 12 patterned paper – here’s an idea for you.
Cut three of those strips from your patterned paper.  Ink along the edges of the strips.  Adhere side by side on a piece of black cardstock.  I used both double sided adhesive and a little liquid glue so that they don’t come apart at the edges/joins.  Leave to dry. When completely dry, cut thin strips – so cut strips on the short side and if you look closely you can see three different strip edges joined together.

Adhere to black cardstock layer on your card, leave a small gap between each section to make it look a little like a mosaic.
Assemble and adhere a 3D pop out and adhere to card.
Make a small tag and adhere – I also cut out the word ‘you’ from the sentiment/quote blocks patterned paper and adhered to the tag and just like that – it’s done.

I really enjoyed making this small gift card.  Hope you have a go using the strips – would love to see how your card comes together – please share.

Happy crafting. Until next time, Michelle
