Hi everyone, Michelle here and I’m back to share an Acetate card and envelope box featuring the gorgeous and popular  Lavender Love collection. Those that know me well know that I love some purpliciousness and I’ve said before the purples in this collection just make my heart smile – truly.

The base of my card is made with violet coloured cardstock – cut a piece 5” wide and 8” in height, which I have then scored in half.  Cut a strip off the front of my card 1” from the score line, across the card [keep this strip].

Cut a piece of acetate 3 ¾” x 5” and adhere under the top of the front of the card. Cut a piece of the strip of cardstock that you have kept – an inch and adhere on top of the bottom portion of the acetate, leaving a piece of blank acetate in the middle of your card. Cut two pieces [strips] of patterned paper and adhere to the top of your card, top and bottom over the cardstock. Cut another two strips of cardstock and adhere on the reverse side of the front of your card so that you don’t see the adhesive you have used showing on the acetate. Cut a scallop shape or circle shape using a slightly lighter shade of purple.

Build your embellishment cluster to the right on your scallop tucking in a little muslin, some crafting fibres, a few pearls, a sentiment from the ephemera pack, a bloom, some art stones and tie in a little twine or wool before adhering your scallop to the top and bottom of the your card towards the left over the acetate.

I’ve added some more pearls, o-rings and die cut heart shapes and I’ve used a couple of small mounting foam pieces for a little height under my hearts. To finish I’ve added a few premium adhesive pearls. I also made an envelope box for my card and a closure belly band which I’ve embellished with papers from the Lavender Love collection, cut out a little foliage, added some art stones, sequins, muslin and crafting fibres. I’ve also double cut a butterfly die and adhered to the top of the box. It’s so easy to be creative with this stunning collection.
