Hey Everyone! Michelle here and this week I have put together a brilliant off the page project using Tina Ollett’s new Seaside Girl collection from Couture Creations. This latest release from the team at Couture Creations is out now. Without further adieu, let me show you my new beach themed altered block!

I have run the edge of my Stayz In Place – Chocolate Sprinkles ink pad around the edges of the wooden block.

I’ve used papers from the 12×12″ Seaside Girl paper collection and cut squares of patterned paper, inked around the edges with a small brown ink pad and adhered to each side of the wooden block.

To go with the beachy theme of the papers I added beach shells, pearls, mixed media stones, muslin, gesso, tucked in a few die cuts from the ephemera pack, cut out the birds and popped them in amongst the beachy collection of bits as well.

I found a quote and made a small wall hanging for one side of the cube but this collection also has a fantastic page of sentiments you could use to suit as well!

I grabbed a ball of twine and made a net to hang over the side and edges of the wooden block.

Found some rub ons for the top and bottom edge of this side, cut out two anchors and adhered them together for a little more sturdiness before adhering to the top of the edge of the netting.
