Hi everyone, Michelle here today and you will have been seeing a whole lot of gorgeous creativity from the design team featuring the newly released ‘Elegance Collection’ and is it ever – pure Elegance. A stunning collection and I’m here to share a layout with you. This layout is all about cardstock and gorgeous papers. Let me share with you what I’ve done.
Cut squares/rectangles of cardstock and patterned paper as follows :
- 12”x12” white cardstock
- 11”x11” square green cardstock
- 8 ¼”x 10 ¾” white cardstock
- 8” x 10 ½” patterned paper
- 8 ½” x 4 ½” green cardstock
- 8 ¼” x 4 ¼” white cardstock
- 8” x 4” Elegance patterned paper
- 6 ¾” x 5 ¾” white cardstock
- 5” x 5 ½” green cardstock
- 5” x 5” white cardstock
- 4 ½” x 3” orange cardstock
- 2 ¾” x 4 ¼” white cardstock
Creating small tags in green and white cardstock and punched and threaded white cotton/string through them before tucking them under my layers of cardstock and patterned paper. Cutting a scalloped strip using the Elegance Beautiful DL border cutting die as well as the layer die ‘You are Adorable’ sentiment cutting die – in the green cardstock. Before adhering everything completely down, create clusters of pieces of foliage ephemera around the photo.
You know that I can’t help myself and I have to add bitsers to my creativity – on this layout, a little muslin [cheesecloth], some lace, a flower or two, some leaves, a small piece from a dictionary [travel], a plastic clock and I found a quote that I liked.
To finish off, add both soft peach and soft green adhesive pearls – I’m loving these wee gems – they really do add to the Elegance collection and my layout.
