Hello, Mary here today I have created a different type of project, I created a Memory Canvas with vintage photograph from my family history. Decorating the canvas with Vintage Tea collection, have a happy crafting day.
Cutting
- Rose Cardstock 6¼” x 4¼”
- Vintage Tea Paper no.5 cutting down to 9¾” x 5¼” inches
- Mix the paints to achieve the desired colour to suit your paper. Prime your canvas with Gesso using the brayer.
- Once the Gesso is dry, paint the canvas with your desired colour of paint. You will probably need at least 2 coats so make sure that you have mixed enough paint to allow for this.
- Mat a photo to the rose cardstock. Adhere to patterned paper and attach to centre of canvas using tape and glue.
- Using glue, attach ribbon to lower part of canvas.
- Select a variety of flowers and leaves from the ephemera pack. Mould some of the top ones to create depth. Use the foam dots to attach the top flowers.
- Use gesso to coat the chipboard. When dry, emboss with Pearl white embossing powder and heat. Attach embossed word to canvas using glue.
