Cutting
Ivory Card :
- 1 x 11¼” x 6¾” [ Base card]
- 1 x 6¾”x 4½” ] Extension for base]
- 2 x 5”x 6¾” Score on short side at ½” [ Front and back covers]
- 1 x 4”x 6¼” [ Back cover]
1 x 4”x 6¼” [ Back cover]
Carnation Card Stock:
- 4 x 4 ¼ ” x 6½”
- 2 x 2”x
- 3 x 2”x 4¼”
-
6 x 2”square
Patterned Paper:
- 3 x 4”x 6¼” [inside and outside of front cover and inside of back cover]
- 2 x 1¾” x 6¼”
- 3 x 1¾” x 4”
- 6 x 1¾” square
NOTE: If using directional patterned paper, you will require a little extra patterned paper as some pieces are cut Landscape, and some portrait.
Stamp greeting onto Ivory card with the black ink and emboss with the clear embossing powder and die cut with oval die. Place same oval die on to pink card stock and draw around it with a pencil. Fussy cut. Glue these 2 pieces together and set aside.
Cut the base card as per template. (photo as shown)
- Cut all solid lines.
- Fold and burnish all score lines.
- Using glue, join the base card and the extension piece together. Do the 2 outside pieces first. Check and make sure that they align. Trim if necessary.
- join the centre strip.
- Attach the front and back covers.
- Attach all the patterned pieces to the corresponding pieces of card stock.
- Lay the card out flat and attach all of these papers to the corresponding areas on the card.
Glue the greeting to the front of the card. Use some of the pretty pink pearls as well if desired. Select pieces from the Ephemera pack and assemble inside the front and back covers. I always like to mould the top layer of my creation and use 1 or more of the 3 D foam dots to add a little bit of a contour. I tend not to glue the whole piece of my arrangement. Generally by only gluing the base of the pieces, you get a more enhanced 3 D effect.
