HI there everyone it’s Mary here today with my Happy Birthday card created with the Street Smarts collection of stamps and dies.
INSTRUCTIONS
CUTTING:
- MOCHA cardstock :
- 1 x 10”x 5” Scored at 5”.
- 3 x 4¾” x 1/8”
- 4 x 1¼” x 1/8”
- IVORY Cardstock:
- 1 x 4¾” square
- EARTHY DELIGHTS papers :
- 1 x 4½” square [ Cut in half diagonally]
STAMPING:
Stamp 2 Motocross figures , using ivory cardstock and Black outline ink pad colour and die cut – 2 Motocross figures. Die cut another 2 motocross figures with black cardstock.
Mask off diagonally the 4¾” piece of Ivory cardstock and stamp the checkerplate stamp [using the stamp press] with Cappuccino Ink. Ink all edges of Ivory cardstock and Earthy delights with same ink.
Attach the Ivory and Earthy delights to the Mocha base.
Make a fence using the strips of Mocha cardstock. Attach only the left side of the fence to the card [ approximately 1½”up from the bottom of the card, [ you will attach the right side after placing the second motocross figure]. Glue first black rider to the left, above part of the fence. Place foam dots and strips to the front half of the rider. Attach over the black rider so as to form a shadow. Attach the second black rider to the right side of the card so that the front wheel will come down behind the fence. Place foam dots and strips to the back half of the rider and attach over the black rider so as to form a shadow. Now glue the right side of the fence down.
Adhere the sentiment “Wishing you a Happy Birthday” from the Street Smarts ephemera pack, cut in half and trim to suit. Matt with papers of Earthy Delights and Ivory cardstock. Ink all edges. Foam dot and attach to the card. I hope you enjoy my creation. Cheers Mary XX
