Hi everyone , Mary here today with my double layout I have created with the Blues By You collection, I love these papers and thought they go really well with my photos of my Double Celebration of my Birthday and Wedding Annivessary. Hope you like it too!
Die Cutting and stamping:
- Cut the word die “Celebrate” from the Silver glitter card.
- Die cut the shape for “Celebrate” from a piece of the patterned paper [Tip I used paper from behind where I am placing the 5” x 7” photo]
- Die cut the Butterfly shape from Midnight Hour card stock.
- Stamp the butterfly on the piece of Vellum paper with clear embossing ink and emboss with Silver Sparkles embossing powder. Die cut.
- Glue the spine of the vellum butterfly to the blue butterfly shape. Place a foam dot under each wing to give dimension. [Make 2 of these]
- Stamp and emboss with silver sparkles the words “Best Life Ever” from the Beautiful Stamp and die set.
- Die cut with the oval die your chosen photo.
Assembly
- Trim the light Blue card stock to measure 11¾” square. Attach to the dark blue card stock.
- Trim the patterned paper to measure 11½”square.
- Without taping down, place your photos on the paper to suit.
- Choose some of the flowers to highlight on your page. Using the modelling tool mould the back of these and place the round foam dots in where you have moulded to give support.
- Now attach the patterned paper to the card stock.
- Trim the words “Best Life ever” and attach to silver glitter card. Trim again.
- Choose a word from the ephemera pack.
- Arrange your photos, words and butterflies to suit.
- Finish off by using clear winkles on the moulded flowers.
- Place foam dots behind all word pieces and the oval photo to give some dimension.
