CUTTING
Caloden Cardstock:
2 x 8”x 7” This is your card base. [CUT AS PER TEMPLATE – as per attached below
2 x 4 and 7/8” x 7” Score at ½” on the short side. [ These are for the front and back covers.]
1 x 2¾” x 3½” [For greeting on card front]
1 x Larger Oval Die [ for inside centre of card.]
PATTERNED Vintage Tea PAPER
Be careful if using directional papers.
2 X 6¾” X 4¾” [CUT AS TEMPLATE FOR PATTERNED PAPER TOP]- as per attached below
2 x 6¾” x 4¾ ” [CUT AS PER TEMPLATE FOR CARD INSERT]- as per attached below
2 x 2¾” x 1¼
8 x 1¼”x ¾”
4 x 6¾”x 4” [These are the papers for the front covers]
1 x smaller oval die [ for inside centre of card.]
1 x 1½” x 2½” [ for inside tab created by greeting]
IVORY
1 X 4¾” X 4 and 3/8” [ for message on back of card]
ASSEMBLY
- Join the 2 card base pieces, overlapping in the middle.
- Fold and burnish score lines on card cover pieces and attach to the left and right edges of the card base.
- Attach the 2 paper top pieces and the 2 card insert pieces to the inside part of the card. Attach all the smaller cut pieces to inner card.
- Attach the 4 patterned pieces to the card covers.
- Die cut the smaller oval from a scrap of patterned paper and attach to the Caloden oval. Attach this to the centre of the inner card.
- Select a couple of flowers from the Ephemera pack. Mould these to give them a little bit of shape. Attach [ using the foam dots] to the 2 oval pieces in the centre of the card.
- Choose a saying from the back of the Vintage Tea no. 8. Trim this to 2½”x 3¼”.
- Round the corners of this piece and also the green piece and join both together. ]
- Attach to the front of the card.
- Attach the 1½”x 2½”piece of patterned paper to the back of the greeting that is showing on the inside.
- Attach the Ivory card to the back of the card.
ENVELOPE
You will need 1 piece of A3 paper. Score at 4½” on the long side from both ends. Fold in and burnish. Keep folded and turn 90 degrees and score at 1¼” from both ends. Burnish. Open out and cut off the smaller sections on the sides of both ends, just keeping the centre 1 only. Tape centre back and 1 end closed.
