We welcome back Kerry Collins with some of her amazing cards created with the new collection BLUES BY YOU. This collection has some beautiful vibrant shades of blue that compliment nicely with the soft shades of pastels. Kerry has created two birthday cards with instructions for you to create some cards yourself.
Card – FUN FILLED days Card by Kerry Collins
- Cut Smooth White to 30.5cm x 14.8cm. Score and fold at 17cm and fold, then fold the smaller length back on itself.
- Cut the vellum into panels and attach the large vellum square piece to the large White card panel.
- Die cut the words ‘happy BIRTHDAY’ from some Midnight Hour cardstock and attach to the centre of the large vellum square piece.
- Cut a 14.3cm x 6cm Midnight Hour piece and attach to the centre small panel.
- Attach the smaller vellum piece to the right-hand side small panel.
- Attach tape to the right-hand side of the ephemera window and attach to the small vellum panel, it will overlap to the centre of the card.
- Mount the saying ‘FUN FILLED days’ to the centre of the window ephemera.
- Die cut two leaves from some scrap white cardstock and attach them together with a blooms flower, to the bottom right-hand corner of the window ephemera piece.

Birthday Wishes – card by Kerry Collins

- Fold and score a square card in half.
- Cut Midnight Hour cardstock at 13cm x 13cm and attach to the card front.
- Cut a 12.5cm x 12.5cm from Paper #04 and attach to the card front.
- Using Black ink, stamp’ BIRTHDAY Wishes’ to a piece of Snow White cardstock.
- Attach the ephemera gold frame to the white stamped Birthday Wishes piece and mount these pieces to the centre front of the card.
- Fussy cut the flowers from the small book ephemera piece and attach to the top right corner of the frame.
- Attach butterfly embellishment.
