Our lovely friend from South Africa “Jowilna Nolte” has created this amazing card, creating a wonderful Alcohol Ink background, then cutting them in to strips.. Jowilna explains—–
“When it comes to Alcohol Inks and colour, man, do I just have too much fun. I think the journey for me of just making a mess is my best. I am not too worried about the outcome, nor could I be bothered with planning the outcome. This is the one area of life where I don’t mind not having control – but rather just embracing what happens next. This was the case with creating this card. I created my background, then cut it into strips, then adhered the strips in a random fashion to a background and created a totally new background.
A strip of vellum forms the base for my decorative and focal point elements. I used this pretty messy flowery Chipboard set, combined with some coloured pearls and in a few minutes, I could create a bright and cheerful card.
