“I love finding alternatives for products – and even better when I have run out of a particular supply, and I find the perfect substitute for it.
This was the case when I ran out of dimensional glaze – I love that stuff. But what do you do when you have none left and a project is begging for it? Well, you find the next best thing, and maybe just the best thing overall to use. Enter Couture Creations Quick Dry Adhesive – it dries so quickly, it’s pure magic. Here’s how I used it on this project:
Step1
I figured that the adhesive looks like glaze and just maybe because of its quick-drying capabilities it could be a great substitute for glaze. I first covered my MDF tree with some base colour using  ink pads.
Step2
Then I covered the coloured areas, one colour at a time using a layer of the Quick Dry Adhesive.
Step 3
While the adhesive was still wet, I sprinkled it with a generous layer of glitter and left it to dry.
Step 4
After about 5 minutes I shook off the excess glitter and I now have a perfectly glittered Christmas tree element!
I would say it was about a quarter of the drying time than usual – which in my books is a sure WIN.
I think I may just have discovered a new favourite glue and glaze, all in one.” ~ Jowilna Nolte
