Hello Fiona here today with my Lovely Lavender Love Card. Using the new release Lavender Love collection form Couture Creations. I have created a video tutorial, click on the link above.
Instructions
Cut Green card stock size 5’ 7/8 in x 12’ inches. Cut Purple card stock & a piece of the Lavender Love collection for internal cover 4.5 inches x 4.5 inches Cut an inside piece of Lavender Love collection of your choice, I used the butterfly one paper CO728740. Select from the ephemera package the following elements large jug / 3 of the words My garden, Don’t forget, You are. 1 large and small butterfly. 2 of the white Mulberry flowers and 1 of the Mulberry blue flowers and 4 grass paper leaves.
- With your 2 butterflies embellish them with your Pearls and liquid drops 3D pearls and join them together with the smaller one on the top, sitting just behind the head of the larger one.
- Glue your Purple 4.5 “x 4.5 cardstock onto the front of your card
- Use your 4.5 ” x 4.5″ in Lavender Love piece and glue it to the inside pager of your card, you can choose to add a piece on both sides, I’ve just added it to one side.
- Using your flowers and grasses twist them together and create a bunch attach them to the Jug ephemera piece. I put mine through the handle of the jug and secured it to the back of the jug with some double-sided tape.
- Add “My Garden” diecut to the front of the Jug element.
- Turn the jug over and add foam tape pieces to create height, so it sits off the page then turn it over and attach it to your card front. Attach the butterflies you have joined and decorated
- Add “Don’t forget” , “You Are”, and write “LOVED” with Couture Creations Embossing pen. if you don’t want to write the word love and you have a stamp with the work love you could use it and use your embossing pad to add the stamp to the front of your card then with the embossing powder sprinkle over the stamped or written inked area and heat set.
