I’m back on the Blog today sharing my layered card using Couture Creations Australian Natural Beauties collection and oh my what a collection it is, I’m loving it and I hope you all enjoy it and this post today. Layer One : Cut a sheet of the Avalara card stock in half this will give you a 6”in wide piece, then trim it down on the long side to 11 3/4 inches and score the card on the long side at 5.75″. Cut a piece of the Australian Natural Beauties paper to 5 3/4” x 5 3/4”
Layer two :Cut Avalara cardstock 4’x4’, Cut Australian Natural Beauties paper at 3 7/8 ” x 3 7/8 ”
Layer three: Cut Avalara cardstock at 2 ½” x 2 ½” / Cut Australian Natural Beauties paper at – 2 3/8” X 2 3/8”
Cut the kookaburra from the Australian Natural Beauties 6.5 ” x 6.5” paper pad , you will find this at the back of the pad. Inking around the edges of the kookaburra.
Cut a piece of Avalara cardstock at 2 1/4″ x 3/4” – to add your sentiment to from the Australian Natural Beauties collection. First layer add some double sided tape to the back of the Australian Natural Beauties cardstock that measures 5 3/4″ , adhere it to the Avalara Base card.
Second layer : Add double sided tape onto the 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8” Australian Natural Beauties and adhere it to your 4″ x 4” Avalara card on the back of the Avalara card you will need to add some foam dots – I used the 1mm one, but you could make this higher if you wanted to.
Third Layer : Add double sided tape to the back of the Australian Natural Beauties 2 3/8″ cardstock, then adhere it to the 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ Avalara card on the back of the Avalara card add your foam dots.
You will centre each layer in the middle of the one behind it. Adhering a sentiment from the Ephemera pack that says “Enjoying Life “and use some foam dots to add it to the Avalara piece measuring then add foam dots to the back of Avalara card and place it at the bottom of the third layer leaving a little bit of the 3rd layer showing under it. Add some foam dots to the back of the kookaburra and slip it in behind the “Enjoying life” sentiment. Create a bow and add it onto the card and you are now finished!!
