Hello again , Fiona here today with another short video and blog post, Today, I have a gift card holder using the beautiful Couture Creations Elegance collection of papers. If you have any of the elegance collection paper, pick your favourite sheet and come on over and have a look at my video on how I created this gift card holder. Select one of the Elegance collection paper and cut it down to 6 in x 3.5 in, you will get 2 gift card holders from this piece of paper, then score at one end at ¼ inch.
Fold and scored end over, then fold the other end in half to meet the other side. Glue along the bottom and along the folded strip and glue down using a 1.5 in punch, cut a notch out of both sides or you could do one side if that is your preference. From the Elegance collection pack, select some of the gift cards to put inside, to write your sentiments on. If you were like me and wanted a bit of an added gold accent on your gift card holder you can use The HEAT FOLING PEN. Ensure you plugged in and the when the light is green is on, using the calligraphy nib (I used this nib as it was the broadest nib ) add your accents where you want a touch of gold sparkle. All you need to do is add any embellishments you would like, I added some flowers to one of mine and left the other one the way it was. These Elegance papers are just so lovely to work with they hardly need anything to make them beautiful at all!
