Glue a pocket 8.5 x 9.5 cm and the front piece was 7 x 8.5 cm, you will need to create your opening as well if you create them from scratch. Used a circle punch cut out a half circle ( as seen in my video) Glue your pieces together leaving an opening at the top, using hessian rickrack Glue it with the Couture Creations All-purpose Art Glue, and glue around the edge of the pocket, then put aside to dry.
Using CO728576 Vintage Bloom Daffodil stamp and colour set , use the main stamp and ink stamp it onto your adhesive label once dry take the small mail stamp and stamp it onto your adhesive label cut around the edge of your label to remove some of the backing use a sponge dabber to ink around the edges to give it a distressed look. Stick your label onto the front pocket using the All-purpose Art Glue. Glue down your snippet, and buttons with the perfect Turbo Tacky Glue, leave aside to dry.
Note pad for pocket
Using scrap paper or card stock create a small note pad that will fit into your pocket (I’ve not given sizes here as it will vary with how far in you have glued your pocket) once you have it looking and fitting into your pocket use a hole punch to punch two holes into the top of the note book using a bit of ribbon thread it through one side and back out the other and tie it into a bow if you want a more distressed look ink around the edges of your cover (I used old book pages and tea and coffee dyed paper for the internal part of the book and I used some heavy weight paper from a garden magazine for the cover and back of the note book once it is all put together you can put your note book into your pocket and it all finished.
