Hello Hello everybody it’s Fiona here on the blog today making a card that has a pocket on the front for little snack or tea bags or coffee sachet chocolate whatever it is you would like to put in it so here we go.
Measurements
- Base card 81/2 “x9”
- 3 pieces of Earthy Delights paper at 3.75″ x 5.25″
- 1 at 2.25″ x 3.75″
- 1 at .75″ x 5.25″
White card for the inside measuring. 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
Using the base card and a scoreboard tool with the 8 1/2″ side at the top score at 2 1/2″ and 3″. Turn the card to the 9″ side with previous score lines toward the top of the scoreboard (check video if this doesn’t make sense) and score at 1″ and 5″ . The next 3 line will only be scored up to the 3 inch line from the first lot of score lines score at ½” , 5 1/2″ and 6″ .
Cutting out the square in the corner and one of the 2 little squares then on the other side you will see the 2 little squares, we will be cutting out one of them.
Then we will fold all the fold lines and then place our 3 piece (we cut at the same size) to the 2 inside places and one on the front of the card using All-purpose art glue. Next, we will use our ¾ inch x 5 1/4’” piece and add this to the inside fold for the gift card holder then glue both ends to create a pocket.
Next, we will attach the 2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ Earthly Delights paper to the front of this pocket, then we are going to glue the tabs. Glue the sides to the card front making sure that the edges sit flush with the side of the card front and you now have a cute little card that has a front pocket and inside gift card pocket.
