I am one who loves to use as much of my stash as possible. To that end, I am always looking for ways to use what I already have available. I decided to try my hand at making a Wedding card using the Earthly Delights Collection, which is not designed for that purpose. I couldn’t see why it wouldn’t work, so gave it a shot.
For this card, I started with a white card base, then added the new Swiss Dots Cardstock, cutting it down to the same size. Next I looked through the ephemera as I knew there were some bouquets in there. I chose one of the larger ones for this purpose. While I was looking, I found a piece of ephemera with a flat edge that I thought would be perfect for the bottom of the card. It had a small line of blank card, so I trimmed that off. For both pieces of ephemera, I added double sided adhesive foam dots before adding them to the card. This gave them a bit of a lift without adding too much height.
I then added the bouquet to the top, and the other piece to the bottom. I added a bit of sparkle to each piece, then stamped sentimentthat was suitable for a wedding. Because I knew the white tag would get lost in the background, I glued it to a piece of Copper Glitter Card, then cut around it, leaving a small border. Lastly I added a small gold bow.
