Hi everyone, it’s Cheryl here.
I started this card by creating a background using alcohol inks. Because I wanted the card to have some sparkle, I chose the glitter accents alcohol inks from Couture Creations. Once I was happy with the background, I put it aside to dry. (It only takes minutes.)
Once dry, I stamped the Vintage Tea Floral Cake image with the Couture Creations Stamp & Colour Outline Ink Pad (black). I did this with the Precision Stamp Press. That way, if required, the image can be re-stamped without issue.
It is important to put this aside to dry completely, especially since it’s been stamped on top of alcohol inks. Once completely dry, I did a bit of quick colouring with alcohol markers. I wasn’t fussy at all – it was simply to give the image a bit more colour.
After that, I layered the image up as seen in the photo.
This was an easy card to make and has a lot of sparkle. I decided not to add a greeting to ensure none of the image was covered up. You could easily add one if you wanted. Happy crafting and I hope you enjoy my inspiration, Cheryl XX
