Hello! It’s Cheryl here with you today, and I want to share this easy, yet elegant drapery card with you. *This card is often known as a full pleat card, and even as a half pleat drapery card! Either name can be used. This is a very simple card to make and although it can be a little more time consuming than your average card, I think it’s worth it for the results. I have found double-sided design paper gives the best results as you have a different design or colour peeking through from behind, giving it added dimension. Before you begin cutting, make sure you have your design facing the way you want it to be when completed.

Here are the measurements required to make this card:
Cut paper 3″ x 11″
Score (on the long side) at:
1 1/2″ – 2″ – 3″ – 3 1/2″ – 4 1/2″ – 5″ – 6″ – 6 1/2″ – 7 1/2″ – 8″ – 9″ – 9 1/2″
Mark each short side at 1 1/2″ and mark the long side at 5″ and 6″ (one side only)
Cut from 1 1/2″ to 6″ and 1 1/2″ to 5″
Concertina fold from each end, meeting in the centre.

For this card, I used the “Cherished Friends” stamp set for the greeting, but you can swap that out for another greeting, or even foil the greeting as I did in the video. *I created a video for this technique some time back, (same measurements) so here it is again.
