Hi everyone, it’s Cheryl with you today and I’m sharing a layout. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I am not a scrapbooking person. They are totally not my forte, and I therefore don’t attempt them very often. But I’m always up for a challenge. The layout I’m sharing today is either my fourth of fifth layout ever. So it’s very basic, but sometimes simple is the best.
I chose a Lavender Love 12×12 sheet that I thought lent itself to being easy to work with. I didn’t do a great deal after that except go through the 6.5×6.5 pack of design paper, where I found a piece of design paper I felt was complimentary to the main design. Adhering it to the 12×12 sheet and on the right hand side, added the top strip from another 6.5×6.5 sheet for added interest. I lined my photograph with a piece of matching cardstock, then glued both down on the smaller sheet. Lastly, adding a few pieces from the ephemera to form a message, as well as some butterflies from the same ephemera pack. (If you purchase the collection, the ephemera is included.
